Well, I'm 21 years old, and I'm new to the dating scene. I've been umm... we'll say "tied down" since I was 16 years old. Not something I want to get into more detail about here, but maybe someday.

It's the small things that count, and I want to find a guy that understands that. And practices it. Appreciates it.

Someday, I want a relationship that is built on friendship. I believe that being in a relationship with someone you do not consider your best friend is pointless and a waste of time, because I don't believe it will go anywhere. I want someone who is going to have his own opinions and allow (and encourage) me to have mine. Someone who is going to have his own life outside of our life, who will have his friends and a healthy social life outside of us, and who will also encourage and support me doing the same.

I want him to be someone I can be excited about coming home to, rather than dreading coming home because he's there. Someone who is happy to see me at the end of the day, who is going to take the time to ask me how my day was and actually *listen* to my response, because he can expect nothing less from me.

My biggest thing, is that I don't want to "complete" anybody. I also don't expect him to already be ''complete''... I just want someone I can make even better, and someone who wants to make me even better. I don't want to be your everything. You're not going to be mine, I assure you.

Funny thing is that OKCupid says that basically all of the best matches for me are all bi girls. I love to cuddle, I like to go out to movies and be out doing stuff but its also nice to just sit home sometimes and cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. I grew up with two brothers one is 22 and one is 17 i do not have any sisters. I spent at least 97% of my time with brothers and their friends.. we have a very close family and we are always hanging out with eachother and friends all the time, there is not a day when we come home and there is not 5 or more people in the house. My family races horses so we are gone traveling most of the summer, we have alot of down time in the winter and it is very nice lol.

I always do my best to make the best of life, and while it's sometimes hard, I'm pretty good at being an optimist! I love being creative (as long as it doesn't involve electronics...) and expressing myself through writing and music. I'm only out to a select few, and it seems easier that way to deal with. I can take criticism, but it really hurts when it's personal coming from a loved one. My greatest accomplishment personally would probably be overcoming the need to verbally or physically rebuke. I'm into self-mastery.
